The NEC (And Hudson Soft) TurboGrafx-16 (PC Engine) was a console released in 1989 to compete with Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis, and Super Nintendo. There was also a portabilized version of the console known as the Turbo Express. It played the same games as the Turbografx-16.
