Gaming PCs can be expensive! But the Element 9260 from iBuyPower is actually very affordable and powerful! One thing you should know is that I’m definitely not a computer geek and in shopping for this computer I just wanted a plug and play gaming PC that could handle graphics intensive games.

So in this video I’ll give you an overview of the iBuyPower computer and basically what to look for when choosing a pre-built gaming computer. When I got this set up I was happy to see that this PC from iBuyPower ended up exactly being what I needed at $850 on sale! It sits on about the middle of the gaming PC price range. I ordered this from Amazon and when this computer arrived, it showed up on my doorstep in the manufacturer’s packaging! Not even in a brown Amazon box. So just be aware of that so it doesn’t sit at your door too long for someone to snatch it up.

One of the nice things is that this iBuyPower gaming PC comes with a keyboard and mouse which helps save a little money. The keyboard is fairly basic and has one LED light for logo at the top. However the mouse does have RGB lighting for a little extra style while it sits on your desk. And speaking of RGB lights, you can’t help but notice the big lit up fans on the front and back of the tower for super-efficient cooling. With these fan lights you can change what they look like with the pre-installed software for a totally customized look. Since this iBuyPower PC is most definitely going to be a focal point in a room, it’s nice to be able to make it like a high-tech piece of art work!

In the video I show you a bird’s eye view of the components that makes this a great gaming PC. To handle high resolution games there’s an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660Ti 6GB graphics card. This is going to be one of the main components to look for if you’re planning on running graphics intensive games. The TUF Gaming motherboard is paired with an Intel Core i7 3GHz 8 core processor. For both the graphics card and the processor, I mainly looked for the most power I could get in my price range. Typically the higher the numbers the better. A couple more important things this computer has is 16GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive for game storage. It also has a 240GB solid state hard drive for the Windows 10 operating system.

As far as connections go, this computer is loaded with a total of six USB 3 and two USB 2 ports. And even though the motherboard has video options, do not use these! You need to only use the outputs from the GeForce video card which includes one HDMI and three DisplayPort connections. And since we’re back here, don’t forget to connect the WiFi antenna. Without it I had trouble connecting to my home WiFi during my Windows set up. The nice thing is that the antenna conveniently attaches to the tower with the magnetic base.

Up on top is where the power button is located as well as the headset ports. And speaking of headsets, I’ve chosen the HyperX Cloud Alpha gaming headset… which by the way is not included but it works with the iBuyPower PC and Xbox and Playstation consoles.

I’m just getting started with this computer but one of the games we play is Beam NG Drive on Steam and my old Costco laptop kept crashing even on the lowest game settings. But now, we can have the graphics on the highest resolution settings and the iBuyPower gaming computer has no problem keeping up with Beam NG Drive. And I’m sure that this PC will be able to keep up with new game releases for quite awhile. You should be able to get along with a slightly cheaper and less powerful gaming computer but for the price this iBuyPower Element 9260 gaming PC is right at about the sweet spot in regards to price and performance.

I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with iBuyPower and if you’re like me you’ve probably never heard of that brand until now.
