We offer the ability for you to process a self-service refund for some eligible games and products you’ve purchased on your Epic Games account. Games that are eligible for refunds are purchased within the last 14 days and have less than 2 hours of played time on them.

Games and products you purchase through the Epic Games Store are generally eligible for a refund. If a game or product is marked as “non-refundable”, then it will not be eligible. Products that include virtual currency, skins, or other consumables are also not eligible for refund. For our complete refund policy click on the link in the description below.

To process a refund go to the Epic Games or Unreal Engine website and click on Sign-In in the top right corner.

Enter your email, then password and click on Log In Now.

Hover over your name in the top right corner and click on Account if you’re on the Epic Games website or Personal if you’re on the Unreal Engine website.

From your personal details page click on Transactions on the left.

Here you will see a list of all your purchases made on your Epic Games account. Locate the game that you’d like to refund and click on it.

If the game you select is eligible for a self-service refund you will see an option to request a refund. Click on Request Refund.

A pop-up will appear explaining the time it will take to receive your refund and for a refund reason. Select your refund reason and click on Confirm Refund.

You will receive a confirmation notice at the top of your screen letting you know the refund has been processed successfully. You’ve completed processing a self-refund on your Epic Games account.
