For the CPU in this build I selected the AMD Ryzen 5 2600. With a solid 3.4GHz base clock speed, and 3.9GHz boost this chip also boasts 6 cores and 12 threads for outstanding multi threaded performance! The superb included stock cooler, low 65W TDP and great value price point round this CPU off nicely!
For the motherboard in this build I kept it simple, with one of the best value boards around! The MSI B450 Pro M2 sits on AMD’s updated B450 chipset, with out of the box support for the new Ryzen 2000 series CPUs. Furthermore the B450 chipset supports overclocking, M.2 drives and up to 32GB of RAM for future proofing!
For the RAM in this build a single 8GB dimm of Corsair Vengeance LPX does the trick nicely! This leaves a spare dimm slot free for future upgrades, once again helping to create a future proofed gaming pc build! Additionally, the clean design and color neutral aesthetic add to this kits appeal!
For the storage in this build, a simple Seagate Barracuda hard drive, with a 1TB capacity works really nicely! 1000GB of storage capacity ensures there’s enough room for your Steam and Origin libraries.
For the graphics card in this $750 Gaming PC Build I opted for a the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, this particular card comes in from MSI. With a 6GB frame buffer, Twin Frozr cooler and good IO output it’s a well rounded card that sits at a very attainable price tag!
For the case in this build the Gamemax Chroma was a great option! While global availability isn’t the greatest on this chassis, the feature set at the price point is really fantastic! The inclusion of 4 120mm RGB fans, power supply shield and RGB strip up front rival even the cheapest cases on value for money! (Please see below for alternative cases, where the Chroma is unavailable)
For the power supply it’s another unit from Gamemax. With a 550W output, fully modular interface and phenomenal 80+ Gold certification it’s a power efficient, space efficient unit …oh and did I mention, it’s got RGB?!
