For the CPU in this $700 Gaming PC Build Guide I opted for the AMD Ryzen 5 1400. At a superb price point this CPU features 4 cores, ad advtantage over Intel’s dual core i3 CPUs, a base clock of 3.2Ghz and boost clock of 3.4GHz. This CPU also comes included with a great stock CPU cooler and is a great CPU choice for overclocking. For the motherboard in this build I opted for a motherboard on the B350 chipset that could support said overclocking. The MSI B350M Pro VDH is a great option with plenty of USB 3.0 ports and am M.2 drive slot. The motherboard also features 4 RAM dimm slots for great future-proofing and overclocking support for both the CPU and RAM!

For the memory in this build I chose 8GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport LT DDR4 RAM. This RAM comes in at a good value price, with a sleek design! For the storage in this rig I chose a 1TB Seagate barracuda. It features the standard 3.5″ form factor, with the fast 7200RPM speed. Whilst it isn’t as fast as an SSD, it is far cheaper and allows a greater budget for the GPU and CPU in this build particularity.

The graphics card choice in this build was a fairly easy one. The GTX 1060 is far more price competitive than the RX 580, and works really well at 1080p and 1440p! This 6GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 will smash the latest titles including, Need For Speed: Payback, Dirt Rally 2, Project: Cars 2 and Wolfenstein 2: the New Order! The small MSI design makes it compact and gives some GPU overclocking leverage!
