This EPIC 2017 Gaming PC Build for $500 is a true 1080p console killer! With 8GB of DDR4, a quad-core Ryzen 3 CPU and GTX 1050 this case is the perfect budget gaming pc 2017! The CPU in this build, the Ryzen 3 1200 comes in cheaper than the 1300X CPu and can be easily overclocked, for better single threaded performance! The CPU’s 4 core design also makes it really great in games such as GTA V and Project Cars 2 which use multiple threads! It also futureproofs this PC or gaming in 2018! The motherboard, MSI’s B350M Pro-VDH is a great entry-level Ryzen motherboard, with the necessary AM4 socket, support for upto 32GB of fast 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM and M.2 SSDs. It also has USB 2.0 and 3.0, PCI-E 3.0 and plenty of SATA ports for hard drives and SSDs.

For the RAM in this Gaming PC Build, I opted for 8GB of Crucial Ballistix Sport LT, in a DDR4 2400Mhz speed, which is enough for 1080p Gaming at 60FPS+! For the storage in this build, a 1TB hard drive is all the budget will afford, with Seagate’s Barracuda 1TB drive coming in at a 7200RPM speed, as fast as mainstream consumer hard drives get.

For the graphics card in this system, I opted for a 2GB EVGA Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. The GTX 1050 graphics card hits the sweet spot for 1080p gaming on a budget, giving enough money left for a good CPU and enough RAM, while crushing Medium & high settings! The EVGA ACX 2.0 cooler also keeps the card cool and allows for good overclocking leverage and headroom!

The final 2 parts on this list are the case and the power supply, Thermaltake’s Versa H15 is a superb budget case with USB 3.0 and 2.0, a windowed side panel and support for full-size ATX power supplies! For the PSU the EVGA 500W 80+ is a great choice.
