For the CPU in this build Intel’s latest release at the top of their i5 lien-up is the perfect fit! With a base clock speed of 3.7GHz and boost speed of 4.6GHz, this i5 9600K chip boasts impressive single threaded performance. You also get 6 cores, with hyperthreading which covers multi threaded performance nicely!

For the CPU cooler in this build the new Corsair H100i RGB Platinum is the new king of 240mm AIO’s. Superb performance, with stunning RGB aesthetics make it the perfect pick! You can find my full review of the cooler here.

The latest addition to the ASUS motherboard lineup sits on Intel’s new Z390 chipset and provides a packed feature set. The ASUS TUF Z390M Pro Gaming not only boasts WiFi, but also dual channel memory, CPU & RAM overclocking and features a conclusive rear IO!

Corsair’s new RGB RAM looks the part, and performs admirably. Available in a range of speeds, this DDR4 3000Mhz kit is quick, comes in 2 colours (Black or White), and looks fantastic with an obscenely bright RGB strip up top!

For the mass storage in this builld I opted for a 2TB Seagate Barracuda. With plenty of room for all of your games, movies and music in a standard 3.5” form factor it’s a great value addition to this build.

For the fast SSD storage in this build a 500GB drive from ADATA is the perfect solution! This new SX8200 Pro drive comes in a range of capacities, utilises the M.2 interface and boasts speeds up to 3.5GB/s!

For the graphics card I selected the MSI RTX 2070 8G ARMOR card! Supporting ray tracing, and built upon Nividia’s latest GPU architecture, this card is a real beast! The black and white colour scheme also fits perfectly with this build.

This case, boy oh boy. The Corsair 280X is a stunning chassis! While not particularly small for the Micro ATX form factor, the 2 compartment design seperates the PSU from the motherboard and GPU to aid cooling. The RGB version of this case also looks stunning, while boasting some decent airflow!

For the final part in this build, the power supply, I selected the Corsair RMx series 850W power supply. With an 80+ Gold certification, fully modular interface and silent Zero RPM fan mode you can’t ask for much more. Oh, and it has individually sleeved white power supply cables!

If you could show this video some love and drop it a share on social media that would be super amazing! (Also, I passed my driving test today! :D)
