Yea… where do I even start with this. First off I can tell that right away, if you are aqcuainted with FFVII Mako Reactor in CS:S or CS:GO, you’ll recognize this map instantaneously. It has the exact same design, locations, areas, paths etc… in fact it mimics everything rather nicely in terms of proportions. It does cut away one segment of the usual route, but picks it up at the ending, and that’s the bridge part in the middle of the map (essentially the connections between the trainstation area to the reactor).

Furthermore, it has been smartly adapted to the gameplay for CS1.6 because yea, boss battles aren’t really a thing there. It’s impossible to recreate the epicness that can be found in the more advanced version of Source, but it does at least, as best as it can, respect the original route.

Cleverly made, and a good replacement for the version in CS1.6 from CS:S and CS:GO. Definitly a recommendation!


GAMEPLAY MODE: Zombie Escape

Zombie Escape is a Source Mod that runs in CS, CS:S and CS:GO. The goal is to escape as a team (CT’s) from the infected (T) that get randomly chosen each round. During the escaping attempt, random and fixed events may happen that reward special items to aid in pushing back the zombies. If the team succeeds in surviving, they win and the zombies are slayed.

If the opposite is true, all humans will become infected and all hope is lost! Make sure to bring good teamwork to the table as you’ll need it to overcome some of the harder challenges such as boss battles and giant zombie hordes.
